IMHO Swag has the potential to be an excellent book and I probably would have given it five stars but for a couple of issues that irritate me personally. Why is it that authors can't just let the star be a lesbian and not bi? Don't get it twisted. All the action in the book is between two women, and the main character is not doing her usual love them and leave them routine, but falling for her new girl hard. My problem is that in several key parts of the book the readers has to be reminded that Stevie also likes a rough neck when it comes to her men. Can we please just pick a side. My next issue, please stop making these characters so perfect. Tell me what women you know that can ride a Harley in 4 inch stilettos and an A-line mini dress. Really... I'm sure it can be done, but as a person who owns and drives a bike, I promise you'll never forget the experience.That said, yes I would recommend the story. The plot though soft, isn't bad and the characters have potential so, I will be buying the next part as I want to know what happens with Stevie and her girl.

First read of this author. Definitely an exciting page turner, was to "HOT" to put down. Awww, ended to soon. Can't wait for Part Two....

This writing ranks within the best of the absolute best. I won't give anyone any information on content, but I strongly urge book readers to please read this work and be prpared to be blown away.
This author has really evolved and grown. Her writing style varies from book to book and though you may not know which style you will get, rest assured you will get a great read. You really get to know the characters and you find yourself rooting for the heros while wanting the antagonist to get their due. Waiting for the sequel.
I'm a big fan of Walter E. Mosley and Stevie is as exciting as his Easy Rawlins character. All of P.R. Hawkins' characters are so well defined and jump off the page. I quickly stopped reading words and quickly began seeing these people in the flesh. I'm loving Joe and his invisibility. I'm 95% sure he's crazy but you leave 5% of me thinking he really has that ability! My favorite part of the novel is the love affair building between Stevie and Keta. My heart sank as Stevie says, "Strapping on the dick changed everything." You are a great writer. The flow is so poetic. Even when you are saying the harshest of things it is written in a way that is tender. That's a great style! I'm looking forward to part two! Thanks!
